Bayport, NY Bayport, NY Full-time Full-time $50,000 - $100,000 a year $50,000 - $100,000 a year Full-time opening for an Assistant Project Manager for a union contractor specializing in masonry and concrete work.
Employee will be involved in preparing of submissions, RFI's, determining and/or gathering information for the project scope of work, attending periodic field and /or client meetings, generating change orders, etc.
Required Skills:
The candidate we are seeking must have 2
years of experience in the industry and / or have completed or be enrolled in a Construction Management type of program.
Knowledge of the masonry and / or concrete repairs a plus.
Experience with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word and Excel a must.
AutoCad experience preferred.
Must have ability to read and comprehend project drawings and specifications.
Willingness to obtain necessary job certifications such as OSHA and scaffold user cards (to be paid for by company) Strong communication skills YOU WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED IF YOU DO NOT MEET THE ABOVE QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS.
