The candidate we are seeking MUST have 5
years of experience in construction, SPECIFICALLY in masonry and / or concrete repairs.
Projects estimated must have been for work for city / state agencies and for a union contractor or must be familiar with PLA / prevailing wage work.
Employee will be involved in preparing estimates, selecting vendors, determining cost effectiveness, compiling submittals by reviewing plans, determining and/or gathering information for the project scope of work, attending periodic field and /or client meetings as well as all other aspects of construction management as necessary.
Required Skills:
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field from an accredited College or University however experience will be considered in lieu of Bachelor's degree.
Experience managing multiple projects.
Experience with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word and Excel required.
Must have ability to read and comprehend project drawings and specifications.
Willingness to obtain necessary job certifications such as OSHA and scaffold user cards (to be paid for by company) Strong communication skills YOU WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED IF YOU DO NOT MEET THE ABOVE QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS.
